Welcome to the Village of Clinton. As I begin my 7th year as Mayor, I am excited to be able to spend two more years serving the community that has been so kind to my wife, Carol, and me. Carol and I have lived in the Village of Clinton for over 26 years. I also enjoy boating, playing golf, motorcycling and fishing with my grandson Brenan. We raised our two children in the Village and have enjoyed the rural setting yet also being close to many attractions that Northeast Ohio has to offer. My background is in business and finance which has allowed me to understand the needs and challenges of potential business owners in the Village of Clinton. Our Village residents are extremely proud of our rich history. The Village was founded in 1816, has seen the coming and going of the canal era, trains that stroll pass by daily, the absence of horses and beginning of the automobile era. Please be sure to travel our towpath trail, use our parks, connect with the fine ladies and gentlemen who make up our historical society. We are always welcoming new members. Please visit our Ohio Veterans’, Memorial Park. I enjoy pleasant conversation and people willing to help our Village thrive. I hope to run into you at the Village Hall, trailhead, Veterans’ park, ball field or the Rhoads-Harter House, home to the Historical Society.
